I’ve had the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner for a while now and finally filmed a tutorial using it. The color I have, Stix and Bones, is described as an iridescent maroon glitter. However, I find that the purple comes through much more than the maroon. That being said, it’s still a very pretty glitter liner and the purple makes this a nice option for when you want to add a bit of glitter to your look without it being too overpowering.
To create a template, lets say, for the glitter, I first laid down a black liquid liner using Tarte’s Sex Kitten Liner. This liner has quickly become a favorite of mine. It goes on incredible smooth! My favorite part of this liner is that it contains a good amount of product at the tip. This means I don’t have to push down super hard to get a thin, crisp line. I use it in this, Night Out Makeup tutorial also.
I paired the glitter liner with eyeshadows from the Huda beauty Desert Dusk palette. This palette has some nice shades of purple and deep reds that really compliment the iridescence in the glitter.
