With Valentines Day being just a few days away I thought I would share with you a look that I think would work great for the occasion. It’s a classic yet fun, flirty look and works both for a romantic date or a fun night out with the girls. The focus of this look are the lips, so we are keeping the eyes toned down with neutral eye shadow but adding a nice winged liner to make the eyes pop. Here’s what you need.
Face: I really recommend starting off with a great primer, even if you don’t regularly use one give it a try for special events. Primers really help set your makeup giving it some real staying power so you don’t have to worry about how your makeup is doing and instead focus on that hot date. Foundation and concealer are going to even out your skin tone and get you that flawless look we all crave, just make sure to set everything with a powder. I like to use a large powder brush for an even and gentle application.
Cheeks: Could this color blush be more perfect, and it’s named Peony. A natural blushing cheek goes perfect with a little highlight and gives you a fresh glow.
Eyes: Neutral eye shadow will help the sexy winged liner stand out, go with a water proof liner that will last all night. Throw on some false lashes for an extra flirty look.
Lips: The bright pink lips are the focal point of this look which is why we went light on the eyes.
