Hot for Spring: Espadrille Flats

Espadrille flats are huge for spring and summer this year, all thanks to the Chanel summer time flat espadrille. I have to be honest, while I did think they looked cute on others I just didn’t think they were for me. However, they seem to be growing on me the more I look at see them and I prefer the lower cut ones as opposed to the ones that go higher up on the foot like the Chanel espadrilles.

Here are 6 lace espadrilles that will fit everyone’s budget!

4 Ways to Wear Peplum

Peplum has been a big fashion craze this spring.  Peplum is that little piece of fabric that flares out from anything like a jacket, dress, or blouse.  If you haven’t tried this yet, or aren’t quite sold on it yet I suggest giving it a shot. I was a bit skeptical at first since I didn’t think a piece of fabric flaring out at my hips would be very flattering, but once I tried on a peplum dress my mind was instantly changed.

If you are worried about your hips looking wider with peplum, go for a more fitted peplum that helps emphasize the waist and cinch it up with a thin belt.  If you would like to add a little curve to your figure, go for a  more flared peplum.
